"Showcase" is the latest musical works from longtime singer/musician JERRY HARRIS. Jerry has played a vital role in the early sound coming out of Bullwackies studio in the Bronx. As a solo artist and original member of the "Reckless Breed" band, he has helped to shape the early New York-Roots reggae sound in multiple ways. A proficient multi-instrumentalist, Jerry's signature basslines and shadow pick guitar are very recognizable in the majority of early Wackies releases, adding a trademark dimension to many riddims. During his career as a musician, Jerry has backed some of the biggest names in the genre as a guitarist, including Dennis Brown and Ken Booth to mention a few. This release is Jerry inna fine style, a variety of moods, singing with the brilliance and refinement of a true veteran of the genre.
